Submission Guidelines

Cut Lunch Lit is now accepting submissions.

These guidelines are entirely flexible. If you are in doubt, email the relevant editor. Addresses are available on the submission details page.

We will accept fiction and non-fiction (up to 1500 words); scripts (up to 1000 words or six A5 pages); and poetry (up to six A5 pages). If you wish to submit another form of writing, please contact the editor of your chosen anthology.

Submissions are welcome in the following formats. The order of this list is our order of preference.

All submissions must be in English.

Contributors should provide us with a return address (email or postal) and a short (25-50 word) biography. We also recommend that contributors provide a means by which readers can contact them. We are all about exposure and networking, and providing a means of contact can only help contributors develop these things. Use common sense though, don't provide your home address for publication.

At this stage, we are not accepting submissions of visual art (photography, paintings, sketches). Ultimately, this is because we wish to focus on writers and also because it would undermine the continuity in our publications.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact the editor in charge of your intended publication. Email addresses are available on the submission details page.
